GENERAL DESCRIPTION

BIOOX SpO2 Sensor Series is recommended for its compatibility with various kinds of hospital equipments.
The exact construction of our sensor keep the same isolated from environment.
The BIOOX sensor does not contain latex.

WARNING

The following factors can reduce the sensor yield

          - excessive environmental light
          - excessive movement
          - electroquirúrgical interference
          -
catheter arterial, handle of blood pressure, infusion lines, etc.
          - humidity in the sensor
          - bad connection sensor
          - incorrect type of sensor
          - perfusion sensor
          - venous pulsations
          - anemia or low hemoglobin concentration
          - cardiovascular colouring

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean the sensor with an H2O solution and a neutral detergent.
Don´t submerge the sensor.

DESINFECTION

We recommend ethylene oxide.
Oxygen water at 3vol, isoprophanol at 70%, ethanol at 70%, CIDEX, solution 1:10 of sodium hypochlorite can be used.

WARRANTY

All Biogénesis sensors have a 1 year of full warranty.
The warranty does not includes bad treatment or misuse.
The useful life of the sensor depends of its use and treatment.

GENERAL SPECS

          - All our probes, cables and sensors are LATEX FREE.
          - Precision +/- 2%
          - Cable Large 0.9m or 2.7m.

PRECAUTIONS

Please clean the device before use. read DESINFECTION
The sensor can be scratched when pulled, misuse can cause the sensor to break.
Avoid contact with alcohol, detergent or another alkaline substance.
If you use with ether, acetone or ester the sensor will lose its flexibility
Please store sensors in a 25º environment. The temperature should not exceed 50ºC.
